On June 8th a postcard came from Russia. This shows a young woman in a red coat sitting in the rain with an umbrella. It comes from a painting by Emerico Toth.
She wrote that she often visited Munich. She loves this city.
There are two standard Russian postage stamps on the postcard. A 5 ruble postage stamp and a 50 ruble postage stamp.
The postcard covered 2154 kilometers, that is 1338 miles, in 21 days.
