The postcard with the original Viennese melange and the chocolate cake became the postcard of the month September 2021.
I just enjoy good coffee and cake.
This postcard reminded me of a weekend trip to Vienna.
Sitting in a Viennese coffee house with all its Viennese charm, drinking a mélange, eating a cake, chatting or just watching people, this postcard produced all of this as a memory.
So for me it is absolutely qualified as postcard of the month.
Somewhere it’s also what makes postcrossing so appealing.
You travel to distant countries that you do not know or, as in this case, postcards from places where you have been before and memories come up.
Very nice. Deserved it.
