A postcard from Austria arrived on January 29, 2021. It is a postcard showing a picture of the mountains of the Geisler group in South-Tirol. The mountain group lies in the Dolomites and this in the Alps. The highest peaks are the Sass Rigais and Furchetta at 3,025m (9,924 feet).
All other peaks are mostly above 2,500m (8,202 feet).
The picture that served as a template for this postcard from Harenberg Publishing House was made by Rainer Mirau.
The writer herself comes from Tirol in Austria.
The distance was only 96 kilometers (59 miles) and it took the postal service six days to cover the distance.
